You can permanently delete your Ledgerly account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the Ledgerly app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Under About, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are permanently removed.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can’t access the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we’ll delete it for you:

Include the email/phone number registered on your account. We verify ownership before deleting.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile (name, email, phone, password).
- All your businesses and books.
- All transactions, contacts, categories and attached receipts.
- Your book memberships and invite codes.
⚠ This is permanent. Deleted data cannot be recovered. If you want a copy first, export your books as PDF or create a Google Drive backup before deleting.
Data retention
When you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems immediately. Residual copies in routine encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. We may retain minimal records only where required by law.
